Delivery Policy

Postage, Packaging & Delivery 

20th Century Collector  aim to dispatch within 3 days of cleared payment (Monday to Friday only). We pack professionally using multiple layers of tissue paper, bubble-wrap, void fill, strong boxes and are clearly marked ‘FRAGILE’.Our automated system will notify you when your order has been dispatched . We track all our courier delivery orders from collection to delivery

UK Mainland Destinations

Where Postage and Packaging costs are included in the list price and are to be sent to a single United Kingdom mainland address we will use Courier services,  Royal Mail Special Delivery or First Class postage services (at our discretion). NOTE  – NORTHERN IRELAND NOT included in this list  Please email us before checking out to ensure shipping costs are included. We also reserve the right to send larger or multiple items via a professional courier service at our discretion.This may add additional time to the delivery. We will notify you when an item as been dispatched. Please allow 3-5 days for delivery from this time   If you require any other delivery service please email us at the time of purchase. We will try and arrange this for you, however any further fee/s incurred WILL ALWAYS BE CHARGED  and must be paid in full before dispatch. Any delays in payments will result in the item/s not being dispatched. If you are not able to take delivery during the day time please leave A SAFE PLACE instruction ON THE COMMENTS SECTION when you order or respond to the delivery service when a request is made to do so. If a delivery attempt is made and repeatedly un successful your order will be returned to us. This may incur further costs  

Where delivery is made by courier service we will use your email address to provide you with tracking details via the courier company . We will also use your telephone number provide for use in case of any problems with the delivery ( e.g. the courier is unable to find the location)  We will not pass on these details to any other party or for any other reason 

General

Deliveries of all kinds DO NOT INCLUDE assembly of any parts if applicable. There will be no exceptions.

20th Century collector will not be held responsible for any damage or loss incurred by any direct agreements between any client and any courier service including but not exclusively instances as stated above.

20th Century Collector will not be responsible for any items lost, stolen or damaged if delivery is accepted by any person for an address other than the stated recipient address when ordering

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that their contact details and delivery address details are correct when the order is made, and are in the correct format. We regret that we cannot accept responsibility for incorrect or non-delivery due to customer error.

In these circumstances, we can re-arrange correct delivery at the customer’s expense. Please contact us via email in this instance.

Non-UK Mainland  and International Destinations

The cost of International postage and packing is NOT automatically calculated when you add items to your basket and is not included in the listed price.THIS ALSO APPLIES TO ALL NON MAINLAND UK DESTINATIONS. Please email us if you are an international or non mainland UK customer with your details and items required. We are happy to post to most destinations, at our discretion however you will be required to create an account through email contact only sales@20thcenturycollector.com. All postage will be quoted via email and will be charged in addition to any list price. This must be paid in full before the item is shipped. We also reserve the right to refuse a sale based on the item/s required and destination.   20th Century Collector will not re responsible for any import tax or tax payable on any item for any destination. Please make sure you check applicable tax for the destination. We send all items internationally using a reputable courier or postal service which will track the delivery information of your item. Unless requested and paid for your item may not be insured for damage or breakage. Please be aware of this factor BEFORE you place your order.
